Of all the rich vinegars and fine wines in the world, those that grow ever more exquisite with the passage of time do so because they are tightly sealed, allowing no essence to escape. The ancients said, “If you could maintain silence for twenty years, even the Buddhas would have nothing more to teach you.” How truly profound!
