Someone compiled a book on the tips about how to preserve one’s health. The diet section is gravely focused on how to cook all kinds of animals, including sparrows, wild geese, pheasants, mandarin ducks, rabbits, camels, deer, bears, and wild hogs, many of which even spoiled rich kids might not have tried before.
Ancient sages already spoke with total precision: “No matter how well you preserve your health, you will have to die.” How pathetic it is to still cling to the delusion of immortality and commit even more killings in one’s old age! This is a book that will lead old people and their descendants all to hell!
Confucius said, “Old people should live in peace.” Certainly, he would never recommend killing as a way to live in peace. Those who promote that meat-eating is good for health really should give it second thoughts.
